Accessibility

Our commitment

We target WCAG 2.1 AA across the platform — registration, lobby, live rooms, and replays. Accessibility is part of our engineering standard: every interactive component ships against a documented checklist, and automated WCAG checks run in our test suite.

Accessibility features

• Live captions during sessions, with adjustable size, position, and contrast.
• Real-time caption translation into nine languages (when enabled by the organizer).
• A dedicated, always-visible sign language interpreter video that attendees can move and resize.
• Screen-reader announcements for live session events — session start and end, polls, breakout rooms, and more.
• Full keyboard operation with a shortcut help dialog (press ?).
• Reduced-motion and high-contrast modes that follow your system settings, with in-app overrides.
• Post-event transcripts and closed captions on replays.

Assistive technologies we test with

• VoiceOver with Safari (macOS and iOS)
• NVDA with Chrome (Windows)
• JAWS with Chrome (Windows)
• Keyboard-only navigation (no pointer)

Known limitations

We list these honestly and are working through them:

• In-room chat, Q&A, and tech support are newly released; a dedicated screen-reader pass for them is scheduled.
• Some third-party components (the schedule calendar and the email template editor) inherit their vendors' keyboard support.
• Speakers joining via RTMP ingest cannot be individually labeled in live captions.
• Our VPAT is in progress and will be published after the formal third-party audit.

A VPAT 2.4 (WCAG) conformance report is being prepared following a formal audit and will be available for download on this page. Enterprise and government buyers who need it sooner can contact us.
